Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    Saint Urbain è un Pinot Nero complesso, ottenuto da un collage di vigneti provenienti da tutto il territorio del Domaine Jean Fournier. Il naso rivela un bouquet di ciliegia nera, mirtillo rosso e lampone selvatico, intrecciato con note di erbe secche, terra cotta al sole e un pizzico di spezie. Perfetto per chi cerca un assaggio completo di Marsannay.

    Il Domaine Jean Fournier è guidato da Laurent Fournier, il figlio del fondatore che ha dato il nome alla cantina. Sebbene l'azienda vinicola sia stata fondata nel 1962, la famiglia è presente nella regione di Marsannay da molto tempo, con il re Luigi XIII che parla della sua presenza nel XVII secolo.

    Al palato, Saint Urbain è di medio corpo e ricco di frutta rossa, offrendo sapori di lampone, mirtillo stufato, grafite e note di violetta, oltre a un aspetto terroso e di terra bagnata. I tannini eterei e l'acidità ben bilanciata portano a un finale lungo e setoso. È stato invecchiato per un anno in rovere, prima di altri cinque mesi di affinamento in bottiglia. Per la sua produzione sono stati raccolti i famosi vigneti di Etalles, Longeroies e Ouzeloy. Sarà un partner eccellente per i formaggi duri, il pollame arrosto o i classici piatti di carne della Borgogna.
