Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    Fondata dall'enologo David Clouston, Two Rivers Winery si trova nella regione di Marlborough. L'azienda, che ha iniziato il processo di conversione biologica BioGro NZ nel 2020, si rifornisce di uve (coltivate senza l'uso di fertilizzanti chimici sintetici, pesticidi o erbicidi) dal vigneto ad alta densità Brookby Hill Vineyard e da altri siti chiave nelle rinomate valli Wairau e Awatere di Marlborough.

    Questo vino rosato fresco e vibrante è prodotto da una miscela di uve Pinot Nero, Syrah e Viognier provenienti da cinque vigneti situati nelle Valli meridionali. La fermentazione avviene in vasche e il vino finito riposa sui lieviti per 3 mesi. Il nome Isle of Beauty è un omaggio all'isola francese della Corsica, dove il fondatore David Clouston ha trascorso 3 anni.

    Il Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rose è un eccellente vino rosato dal colore chiaro e brillante. Il suo profilo aromatico è vivace e deliziosamente fruttato, con note di anguria e frutta a nocciolo, cachi, fragola e alcuni sentori finali leggermente speziati. Al palato, è fresco e succoso, perfettamente equilibrato e con un finale secco e persistente. È il vino ideale per una serata estiva: ottimo come aperitivo o con frutti di mare, insalate ricche e ricette vegetariane. Lo serva ben freddo!
