Based in Rully, a small village in the Côte Chalonnaise, the Maison Vitteaut Alberti has maintained its reputation for excellence in the production of Crémant de Bourgogne since 1951, when Lucien Vitteaut and his wife Agnès Alberti founded it. His son Gérard took over the winery in 1969, and since 2010 the estate is managed by his daughter Agnès. The house owns approximately 23 ha of vines in the Côte Chalonnaise and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté grapes for their excellent sparkling wines.
The cuvée Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Methode Traditionelle is a refined and pure blend of white grapes sourced in the Cote Chalonnaise. The wine is produced according to the traditional method, with a second fermentation in the bottle and refined for 3 years in air-conditioned quarries at 15 degrees.
In the glass, the wine shows a beautiful bright golden color and fine bubbles. Its aromas of white ripe fruit are supported by citrus notes of grapefruit and orange peel. On the palate, the wine is lively and harmonious with slightly bitter accents and a pleasant roundness. The finish is elegant and persistent and accompanied by a nice minerality. Serve it at 7-8°C as an aperitif or enjoy it with light appetizers and finger food.
Very good service, fast and reliable.
