Purtroppo non acquisterò più a causa della consegna da parte di UPS, che non rispetta mai la data e l'ora e fornisce la falsa scusa di essere assente quando ero lì e ho preso un giorno di ferie per essere lì.

    El Enemigo è un entusiasmante progetto argentino fondato dall'enologo capo di Catena Zapata Alejandro Vigil e dalla storica Adrianna Catena che è la figlia più giovane di Nicolas Catena. I loro vini catturano la loro passione condivisa per la storia, la filosofia e la letteratura, offrendo espressioni romantiche ed infrangibili di alcuni dei più grandi vitigni del mondo con un tocco argentino distintivo.

    Il loro Cabernet Franc da clima fresco coltivato in altitudine negli spettacolari vigneti di Mendoza ai piedi delle Ande è particolarmente ispirato. Il fratello maggiore di questo vino, El Gran Enemigo Cabernet Franc di Alejandro è stato premiato con il punteggio più alto mai assegnato ad un esempio puro della varietà da The Wine Advocate di Robert Parker.

    Le uve per questo imbottigliamento provengono dai vigneti di Gualtallary che si trovano tra i 1400 e i 1470 metri sul livello del mare. Queste condizioni uniche aiutano a produrre un vino straordinariamente intenso e potente con un perfetto equilibrio grazie alle fresche notti estive e alla lunga stagione di maturazione. Il vino giovane è invecchiato per 16 mesi in fonditori alsaziani di 100 anni o in grandi botti di rovere importate dall'Italia. Il risultato è un rosso straordinariamente bello con sapori di bacche scure, tannini morbidi e un finale molto lungo e speziato.
