Purtroppo non acquisterò più a causa della consegna da parte di UPS, che non rispetta mai la data e l'ora e fornisce la falsa scusa di essere assente quando ero lì e ho preso un giorno di ferie per essere lì.

    Questo è un vino corposo e maturo, con profumi intensi di prugna, cioccolato fondente, marmellata di more, torta di frutta speziata e terra. È prodotto con la santa trinità delle uve della Valpolicella - Corvina, Corvinone e Rondinella, tutte raccolte nelle vicinanze della Val D'Illasi, nella regione del Veneto, nel Nord Italia.

    La cantina è stata fondata negli anni '80 da Romano Dal Forno, allievo del grande Giuseppe Quintarelli, che è diventato a sua volta una leggenda dell'enologia italiana. L'azienda si concentra su vitigni a bassa resa, coltivando 8 ettari di uve autoctone venete nei terreni alluvionali della Val D'Illasi. Questo approccio di "qualità più che quantità" consente un tocco profondamente personale: Romano si occupa delle esigenze di ogni singola pianta nei suoi vigneti.

    Il Valpolicella Superiore è straordinariamente equilibrato al palato, camminando sul filo del rasoio tra intensità e bevibilità. È ricco di note classiche italiane di foglia di pomodoro, balsamico, prugna, fragola e pietra bagnata, con una base sapida di terra appena tornita e cuoio. Con i suoi tannini forti e setosi e l'acidità pulsante e media, è un vino rosso da assaporare. Consideri di abbinarlo a carne tenera, pollo arrosto o pasta al pomodoro vegetariana.
