    Fondata nel 1731, Bouchard Père et Fils è un'azienda vinicola della Cote d'Or, in Borgogna, ricca di storia e tradizione e dal 1995 è di proprietà della Maison Champagne Henriot. L'azienda, ora guidata da Stéphane Follin-Arbelet, possiede circa 130 ettari di vigneti in alcune delle denominazioni più prestigiose della Borgogna, come Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne e Clos Vougeot.

    Le uve Pinot Noir provengono da vigneti situati nel cuore della denominazione Pommard, su terreni di origine calcarea con tracce di ferro. Dopo la vinificazione, il vino finito riposa in botti di rovere francese (di cui il 20-30% nuove) per circa 1 anno.

    Il Pommard Premier Cru du Bouchard Pere & Fils è un vino elegante e ben strutturato, dal colore rosso rubino scuro brillante. Al naso, mostra un ampio profilo aromatico con note di mora e amarena, accenni di sottobosco e legno. Al palato, è solido e corposo, con tannini densi e ben integrati. Ha un carattere forte e un finale lungo e fruttato. È pronto da bere subito, ma può rimanere in cantina per diversi anni. Eccellente con il Coq au Vin e la faraona arrosto.
