    Situata in un paesaggio collinare sul lato ovest di Paso Robles, in California, Dusy Vineyards è stata piantata dalla famiglia Dusi nel 1945. Qui le viti, coltivate a secco su terreni rocciosi e alluvionali, beneficiano del caldo sole della California e delle ampie variazioni di temperatura diurne. Questo permette alle uve di raggiungere un livello di maturazione perfetto, pur mantenendo una vibrante acidità. Il risultato sono vini molto equilibrati e vivaci, caratterizzati da un profilo aromatico intenso e da note speziate.

    Le uve Zinfandel provengono dal vigneto Double Dutch di Paso Robles, piantato con viti di circa 50 anni. Il vino viene poi invecchiato in botti di legno per 14 mesi. Il nome BACA si riferisce alla parola latina che significa "bacca" ed è un omaggio all'uva.

    Lo Zinfandel Baca Dusi Double Dutch è un vino ricco, potente ed espressivo. Al naso rivela vivaci aromi di amarene, ribes e lamponi, seguiti da note di erbe aromatiche e pepe nero. Al palato è morbido e rotondo, con tannini setosi ed eccellente concentrazione di frutta. Il finale è lungo, succoso e ben bilanciato da una vivace vena acida. Perfetto per accompagnare un gustoso barbecue o un agnello arrosto.
