Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    Fondata nel 2007 dai soci della cantina Far Niente nella Napa Valley, EnRoute è il risultato della loro comune passione per il Pinot Nero. Dopo aver acquistato e ripiantato un meleto di 20 acri vicino a Graton, nella contea di Sonoma, i soci hanno deciso di acquisire il vigneto Amber Ridge, e stabilire una cantina dedicata a catturare la magica essenza di questo incredibile vitigno.

    Les Pommiers Pinot Noir prende il nome da un meleto abbandonato che si trovava vicino al Northern Spy Vineyard, da cui provengono le uve.

    Questo vino mostra un bel colore rubino. È ricco e setoso con un bouquet fragrante di petali di rosa secchi e bacche, marmellata di lamponi e aromi di mora. In bocca è un vino succoso, pieno e rotondo con accenti di chiodi di garofano e sottobosco che si intravedono fino al finale. I tannini sono maturi e perfettamente integrati. L'acidità è vivace ed estremamente equilibrata.

    Assaggiatelo ora con la faraona, l'anatra o un tagliere di formaggi misti, o lasciatelo in cantina per qualche anno in più.
