Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    Fondata dal miliardario norvegese Alexander Vik nel 2004, Vina Vik è un vero progetto di passione nella incontaminata Valle di Millahue in Cile. Vik sognava di fondare una cantina di classe mondiale qui in Cile e ha riunito un team di talento di viticoltori e coltivatori d'uva, guidati da Patrick Valette, la cui famiglia possiede il famoso Château Pavie a Bordeaux. L'azienda ora produce una manciata di vini eccezionali dai loro 900 acri di vigneti, oltre a vendere l'uva ad altre aziende vinicole.

    La Piu Belle o " la più bella" prende il nome da una dea venerata dagli indigeni della Valle di Millahue, che è presente nel sorprendente design della bottiglia, creato dall'artista Gonzalo Cienfuegos. Il vino è composto da Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot e Syrah e trascorre 21 mesi di maturazione in botti di rovere prima dell'imbottigliamento e del rilascio.

    Il risultato è un vino rosso ricco e potente che scoppia con succose note di bacche scure e sentori di spezie dolci, liquirizia e cioccolato fondente. Il primo sorso rivela un corpo pieno, tannini fermi, una struttura ben sviluppata e un finale molto lungo che lo rendono una grande aggiunta alla cantina per almeno un altro decennio di invecchiamento.
