Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    La nascita della cooperativa Produttori del Barbaresco risale alla fine dell'Ottocento con l'obiettivo di valorizzare le particolari caratteristiche che il Nebbiolo assume in questa precisa zona del Piemonte. Oggi la Produttori del Barbaresco conta una cinquantina di soci e si estende su 110 ettari di vigneti coltivati a Nebbiolo. Nelle grandi annate vengono prodotti 9 Barbaresco da vigneti specifici e commercializzati come Barbaresco Riserva: Asili, Rabajà, Rio Sordo, Ovello, Montestefano, Pajé, Muncagota, Montefico e Pora, zone da sempre note per la produzione di uve di particolare pregio.

    Il Barbaresco Muncagota è prodotto con uve 100% Nebbiolo, provenienti da vigneti esposti a sud-est su terreni argilloso-calcarei. La fermentazione avviene in acciaio a 30° C e il vino macera sulle bucce per 28 giorni. Viene poi affinato per 36 mesi in botti di rovere e per 12 mesi in bottiglia.

    È un vino complesso e corposo. Al naso mostra una grande aromaticità, con intensi aromi fruttati e floreali. In bocca, il vino è molto elegante e ben equilibrato, con tannini armoniosi e un finale minerale. Si abbina bene a pasta e risotti, carni rosse e selvaggina.

    Il Barbaresco Muncagota è prodotto da uve Nebbiolo al 100%, provenienti da vigneti esposti a sud-est su terreni argilloso-calcarei. È un vino complesso e corposo. Al naso mostra grande aromaticità, con intensi profumi fruttati e floreali. In bocca, il vino è molto elegante e ben equilibrato, con tannini armoniosi e un finale minerale. Si abbina bene a pasta e risotti, carni rosse e selvaggina.
