    Situata all'estremità meridionale della riserva indiana di Osoyoos nella Okanagan Valley, Nk'Mip Cellars è la prima azienda vinicola nordamericana di proprietà di Ingenous. Nella lingua locale di Okanagan il nome della cantina si traduce come "bottomland" in riferimento alla sua posizione geografica. Il terroir qui è ideale per fare vini rossi di alta qualità grazie alle condizioni aride del deserto e ai giorni estivi soleggiati che aiutano le uve a raggiungere la piena maturazione.

    Il loro vino di punta si chiama Mer'r'iym dalla parola locale per "matrimonio" poiché la cuvée mette in mostra la sinergia tra Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc e Malbec. Stilato come un grande e bellissimo vino Meritage, la frutta proviene da vigneti nel Sud Okanagan. Una volta in cantina viene fermentato in serbatoi di acciaio inossidabile e poi maturato in botti di rovere francese per 18 mesi.

    Ciliegie mature schiacciate, moka e vaniglia caratterizzano il naso, approfondendo al palato con cassis, mora e prugna insieme a note di spezie invernali e cioccolato fondente. Ricco e robusto, questo cuvee corposo ha tannini fermi, una struttura ben sviluppata e un finale lungo che lo rende ideale da abbinare a stroganoff di manzo, funghi porcini o una coscia d'agnello arrosto.
