Un compleanno da ricordare con DAOU & Colomé Festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre è stato reso ancora più speciale grazie a due vini incredibili: DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 e Colomé Auténtico Malbec 2020. Il protagonista della serata è stato senza dubbio il DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon. Fin dal primo sorso, ci ha avvolti nel suo abbraccio ricco e vellutato. I profondi sapori di frutta scura, le note di cacao e il rovere perfettamente bilanciato hanno fatto sì che ogni bicchiere sembrasse una vera indulgenza. È stato audace ma elegante, un vino che ha portato senza sforzo calore e gioia alla nostra riunione. Vedere mia madre assaporare ogni sorso con un sorriso lo ha reso ancora più memorabile. Anche il Colomé Auténtico Malbec si è rivelato un'ottima espressione del Malbec d'alta quota. Era potente, con more mature, spezie e un finale morbido e persistente: un eccellente complemento alla serata. Questi vini non hanno solo arricchito il nostro pasto, ma sono diventati parte della celebrazione, elevando ogni brindisi e conversazione. Un sentito ringraziamento a DAOU e Colomé per aver reso questa occasione speciale davvero indimenticabile!

    Famiglia storica di viticoltori delle Langhe, i Rossos coltivano vigneti nella zona di Serralunga d'Alba da oltre 100 anni. Ma è dagli anni '80 che l'azienda ha avuto un'importante svolta qualitativa nella produzione, contribuendo in modo fondamentale alla fama del Nebbiolo nel mondo. L'azienda, guidata dal figlio di Giovanni, Davide, dal 2001, possiede oggi circa 10 ettari di vigneti distribuiti in una dozzina di cru prestigiosi.

    Le uve Nebbiolo vengono selezionate a mano e raccolte da sette vigneti situati nel comune di Serralunga d'Alba, ad un'altitudine compresa tra i 300 e i 350 metri, con un'esposizione a sud-est/sud-ovest. Dopo un periodo di macerazione sulle bucce e di fermentazione, il vino finito riposa in botti di rovere francese per 18-36 mesi.

    Il Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba è un vino molto espressivo e profondo, con un profilo aromatico intenso e ampio e note di frutti rossi, prugne e petali di rosa, note di cacao e pepe nero. Al palato, è succoso e morbido, con tannini decisi. Ha il carattere minerale dei vini di Serralunga, con un finale lungo e fresco. Eccellente con stufati di carne rossa, funghi arrosto o filetto di manzo con tartufi.
