    Questo è un vino rosso audace, proveniente da vigneti di proprietà nella Rioja Alavesa. Inizia con un bouquet di prugna matura, ciliegia, zenzero, erbe secche e cuoio, prima di espandersi in un palato intenso. Si tratta di un blend a maggioranza Tempranillo, completato da porzioni di Graciano e Garnacha.

    Il fondatore di Dominio de Anza, Diego Magana, è un giovane viticoltore della Navarra con una passione per le uve Tempranillo e Mencia. L'azienda vinicola si trova nella panoramica regione del Bierzo, nel nord della Spagna, ma nel 2016 Diego ha acquisito anche alcuni piccoli appezzamenti sulle pendici della Rioja. Utilizza esclusivamente metodi biologici, coltivando gli appezzamenti raccolti senza diserbanti o pesticidi.

    Questo ottimo esempio di vino rosso della Rioja è ricco di sapori di marmellata di lamponi, amarena e prugna. È ricco di acidità vivace e i tannini sono finemente granulosi e vellutati in bocca. Si nota una leggera influenza del legno, dovuta ai 14 mesi in botti di rovere, ma il palato è dominato da frutti rossi puri e intensi. Ha un incredibile potenziale di invecchiamento e un finale lungo. Consideri l'abbinamento di questo vino con chorizo, stufato di fagioli o un taglio di agnello sostanzioso.
