    Lo Chateau Clos Marsalette si trova a Martillac, nella denominazione Pessac-Léognan, ed è di proprietà congiunta del conte Stephan von Neipperg e di Didier Miqueu. La famiglia Niepperg proviene dalla Germania, dove ha iniziato a produrre vino nel XIII secolo. Dopo quasi 800 anni di tradizione vitivinicola familiare, Stephan von Neipperg ha assunto la gestione delle tenute di Bordeaux acquisite dalla sua famiglia nel 1971.

    Con la viticoltura al centro dell'attenzione della tenuta, il vigneto di Clos Marsalette si estende su una superficie di 12,30 ettari per il vino rosso e 1,30 ettari per il bianco ed è curato in modo eccezionale per produrre un vino che rifletta accuratamente il terroir.

    Červené víno Clos Marsalette je směsí odrůd Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon a Cabernet Franc. Toto víno, které zrálo 18 měsíců v sudech z francouzského dubu na kalu, je vyvážené, kulaté a trvanlivé. Ve vůni se projevují ostružiny, tabák a kůže s jemnými tóny máty, fazolí espressa a sladké vanilky. V chuti se projevuje jemná zralost černého ovoce, proti které stojí doutníková krabice, mokrý kámen a sušené byliny. Díky sametovým tříslovinám a pikantní kyselině se toto víno skvěle hodí k pokrmům, jako je telecí maso, zvěřina, dušené hovězí maso, vyzrálé sýry nebo pečené brambory a zelenina.

    Il vino rosso di Clos Marsalette è un blend di Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon e Cabernet Franc. Invecchiato in botti di rovere francese sui lieviti per 18 mesi, questo vino è ben equilibrato, rotondo e persistente. Al naso presenta mora, tabacco e cuoio con sottili note di menta, caffè espresso e vaniglia dolce. Al palato, la delicata maturità dei frutti neri è contrastata da scatola di sigari, pietra bagnata ed erbe secche. I tannini vellutati e l'acidità saporita rendono questo vino ideale per accompagnare cibi come vitello, cervo, manzo stufato, formaggi stagionati o patate e verdure arrosto.
