I buy from here from time to time as they have some favourite wines that it's difficult to source elsewhere. Acceptable prices and well packaged. My only reason for not giving five stars is that the delivery date never is the date given at check-out. Always a few days later. So take the delivery date with a pinch of salt.

Storia

L'enologo Frank Cornelissen, di origine belga, si sta facendo strada nel panorama vinicolo siciliano per i suoi vini naturali di carattere. Frank ha iniziato a collezionare vini con suo padre e in seguito è diventato un agente di vini, assaggiando migliaia di vini nel corso della sua carriera. Un giorno, in un ristorante in Sicilia, assaggiò un vino proveniente dall'Etna e si recò immediatamente alla cantina per vederlo di persona. Colpito da ciò che vide, Frank affittò presto alcuni vigneti sull'Etna e iniziò a produrre i propri vini in alcuni capannoni abbandonati e nel 2001 acquistò un vecchio vigneto non innestato piantato con Nerello Mascalese di 50-80 anni.
